Hi Friends, today i would like to show us how to power Bluestack behind proxy specifically (with Simple Server cheat on MTN Network as an example) on windows using the proxy cap app,

Below i've provide a download link for proxycap in an archive, that archive contains both 32 and 64bit architecture based, so any which your windows is defined as. just unpack and install it, after installing restart windows.

Requirements:
Bluestack Emulator installed [Get it Here]
ProxyCap [Download Here]

Guide:

  • First and formost, what we should understand is that within the proxycap setting we need to create two settings, which are HTTP and HTTPS, this guide will help you on creating HTTP,while all you need to do is repeat same step for HTTPS
Okay:
SECTION A: SETTING UP PROXY
  1.  Launch Proxycap,Select the yellow asterix box at the top right corner of the proxycap UI
  2. After that a box pops up, fill the option according to the below image,
Type: HTTP
Hostname: 127.0.0.1
Port: 8080

  • Now Repeat the step 1 and two again, but this time around select 'Type' as HTTPS
Once successful it should look like this

SECTION B: SETTING UP RULES
  1. Click the rules option from the left list menu on the proxycap UI, then slect the yellow asterix sign again,a window will pop up, fill in the selected areas.

as indicated below:
1. Is for HTTP proxy we created earlier.
2. Select the specify option.
3. Locate this file 'HD-Network' from your bluestack installation folder
   (C:\Program Files (x86)\BlueStacks)
4. Make sure the port is 80
Good
Now Repeat same step for HTTPS proxy, with its port as 443.
it should look like this
thats all, click 'Ok' , click 'Ok' again from the next screen....
Finally, goto Taskbar and right-click on Proxycap, then Enable............

thats all , Enjoy.
Please drop feedback , we'd really appreciate. thanks

  1. This doesn't work. If I use my own private proxy the IP still the same. THis was working before the update to Bluestacks 2.
